This book is about a
place, a people, a time. It is about a structure that held us and wore
the scars of our destruction, the drawings of our creativity, the sweat
of our aspirations, the scriptures of our joy and rage. It was a house
that played host to our adventures in reckless love colored with our
collective sorrows. It's about a time in which we created passionate
music, wrote 'till our fingers went numb, spoke out fearlessly and
formed a fierce, desperate, and delirious kinship. These are the
stories
of 714 Humboldt St.
